Amir Aref, PhD
Dr. Amir Aref is a cancer research scientist with advanced training at MIT and Harvard Medical School. He directs the scientific vision behind Oncoptic's platform, bringing deep expertise in translational oncology and ex vivo technology development.
Dr. Aref holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Cranfield University, UK, and completed postdoctoral fellowships at MIT and Harvard Medical School. He previously served as Vice President at Xsphera Biosciences and as Director of the Center for Patient-Derived Cancer Therapeutics (CPCT) at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also a co-founder of Preclinix and DeepKinetiX.
